CSI-C00512-96 ~ Inspected Premium Mare
ABC - 2088~ DNA tested

Harmony came all the way from Georgia to be with us. I bought her soon after we started Diamond under saddle and we had liked her so much we wanted another just like her. Harmony's grandfather is Diamond's father, so we did get some similar genetic lines.

This mare was started under saddle before we bought her and has always been an easy ride. For the most part Harmony has been a broodmare, spending her time leisurely producing colts that have a propensity for jumping, but if someone wants to ride her, she is always ready to go. There can be months on end between her riding stints and she never makes a fuss when the saddle goes on. No need to lunge or "get the bucks out", just saddle and go! My kind of horse..

This picture was taken just moments after the birth of her third colt, *WindyK Supreme Ace. Harmony is always happy to have birthing attendants on hand and, in fact, I think she prefers it.

Harmony has taken a year off motherhood duties and has spent considerable time under saddle increasing her formal education.. I have been exceptionally impressed with her ability to learn new things fast and to retain those lessons long term.. It has not been uncommon for Harmony to improve her skills with minimal effort and riding time on my part. We have been working at training level dressage as well as starting over fences work. Harmony shows an aptitude for both disciplines and an eagerness for work and  new challenges.

I have to say that in the last two years since I started riding this mare regularly she has completely stolen my heart. This is MY horse. the one I ride when I need to regain some sanity or  find peace. The one I ride when I want to just go out alone and have a good time, or when I want to go out with friends and truly enjoy myself. There is just a feeling that comes to me when I first get up on her.. like "Oh yeah.. THIS is a horse!"

Harmony was inspected with CSI in July of 2004 and awarded entrance into the Premium mare book. The judge was impressed with her balance and substance.

Update!! OK Ok.. I know I keep promising not to breed this mare again, because she is so much fun to ride.. but...... I have bred her back to *Troy for an early (march) 2008 foal, in hopes of producing another spectacular foal like *Tahitti (Toni). This foal will be offered for sale and I am open to an in-utero sale. Please contact me if interested. Harmony is one of the most consistent producing mares I know. She ALWAYS puts a foal on the ground that is better then herself and is a joy to have around! Don't miss out on what will be her last ABC eligible foal. And maybe her last foal for a long while period!!
